ANTHROPIC CODE W/ CLAUDE 2025
From strategy and ideation to development and execution, I worked with MAS to design Anthropic’s first-ever developer conference — their very first owned event. We aimed to build a space that showcased what was uniquely possible with Claude focused on the now vs. the future, all while developing the look and feel that would become Anthropic’s spatial brand identity.
The wild part: we got the green light to begin design and production just 63 days (45 business days) before the event.
We had a full house of 600+ attendees, with hundreds of thousands joining via the livestream for Dario Amodei’s keynote address, a surprise product launch that was added in the middle of the project. Under the time constraints and inside an old warehouse-turned-rock-venue — and working with a company that had never done an owned event before — we encountered just about every kind of obstacle. This event quite literally would not have been possible without a massive team of fantastic design and production talent.
I was responsible for the successful delivery of all conference spatial design elements (the daytime portion of the event). I led the team in all spatial planning considerations and guest flow, main stage and breakout stage designs, product demo builds, interactive tech builds, registration and welcome moments, and the Claude Cafe space. I collaborated with the graphics AD on approaches to all environmental applications. I also communicated our designs with our client and our fabrication partner to red line and green light all build drawings. Lastly, I was on-site for a week to oversee the installation of the build and problem solve all the surprises along the way.
